About Suveer
I’m Suveer Passi, a 16 year old student from Wellington College,UK. My favourite subject is maths and I love problem solving. In my free time, I love practising taekwondo and playing golf and basketball.
I had always had a close bond with my paternal grandfather who passed away in May 2021. He battled dementia and I used to love spending time with him. I realised how hard it is for patients with dementia to survive on a daily basis and in August of 2023 I came across SHEOWS, an elderly care centre who take care of abandoned elderly residents battling dementia. Whenever I go to the old age home, all the little interactions with the elderly remind me of my grandfather and connect me to him.
Presenting the youth for elders album to Mr. Ratan Tata (Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons)
Mr Tata was extremely impressed with my efforts and contributions to the old age home and he stated that “helping out the elderly is the need of the hour and we need to have many more centres like this”
Reconstruction Of Bathrooms
The old facilities posed safety hazards and compromised privacy. But we have now created a safe, private, and.comfortable environment for our elderly residents with slip resistant tiles and lightbulbs in the bathroom for nighttime acting as some of the key features.

Eye Camp Organised For The Elderly
Organised an eye camp for the elderly where they were provided with free eye check ups. Following this I organised cataract surgeries for the elderly. They were really pleased with the outcomes of the operations as it helps them in their daily activities. Their vision has improved and so has their quality of life.
Crowdfunding Campaign For Tv
On my very first visit, I realised the only source of entertainment for the elderly was the television and they had a really small one, so I organised a crowdfunding campaign and purchased a 75 inch television for them. They were thrilled with the new television.
